Twenty-two trophies for Daily Challenge milestones, big scores, clever words and standout rounds.
Practice Mode does not unlock Daily Challenge trophies.
We're still testing, tweaking and improving the game. If something breaks, feels confusing, seems unfair, or you just have an idea that would make Word Decks better, we'd genuinely appreciate any and all feedback.
Make words. Upgrade your letters. Finish with the highest score you can.
Make three words. Tap your letter cards or type a word, then press Play word. Words need at least three letters. Each card can be used once per round; unused cards are fine.
Improve your next round. After rounds 1 and 2, you can spend earned points to swap letters. Better letters could help you score more next round — but upgrades cost points.
Your final score is the points left after three rounds. Will an upgrade earn more than it costs?
Improve your deck before the next round.
TUTORIAL CLOCK PAUSED · Take your time learning to swap.
In the real game, choose your own dictionary words and upgrades. Make three words of at least three letters in each round. Each card can be used once per round; you can leave cards unused.
Each market lasts two minutes. Prices stay fixed, and staged swaps lock in automatically when time runs out. Upgrades are optional: spend wisely.
Improve your deck before the next round.
Prices depend only on how many swaps you make, not how long you take.
Drag an upgrade onto a deck card, or tap an upgrade then tap the card you want to replace.
Your swaps are locked in.
15 CARDS. 3 ROUNDS. 3 WORDS A ROUND. MAKE THEM COUNT.
You have a deck of 15 letter cards and play 3 rounds. Make exactly 3 words per round, with at least 3 letters in each word.
Type your word or tap the cards, then click Play word. Each card can only be used once in that round, but you don't have to use all the cards in your deck. A repeated letter needs a separate card for each use. You cannot play the same word twice in one round, but you can use it again in a later round.
Before submitting, click the × beside a played word to remove it and free up its cards, or click Reset Round to clear all three words. Once you are happy with your three words, click Submit Round to add their points to your bank. A submitted round cannot be changed.
After each of the first two rounds, you can spend points upgrading your deck. All cards become available again at the start of the next round, including any new cards you bought.
The points left in your bank after round 3 are your final score: your word scores minus your market spending. Spend them wisely!
| POINTS | LETTERS |
|---|---|
| 1 | A E I N O R S T |
| 2 | C D L M U |
| 3 | B G H P Y |
| 4 | F K V W |
| 5 | J Q X Z |
Start by adding the points on every card in your word. Add the matching length bonus, then apply every multiplier the word qualifies for.
Vowels count each time they appear; Y is not a vowel for this bonus. Each multiplier applies once per word, even if the word contains several rare letters. Multipliers also multiply the length bonus. All three multipliers together give ×12.
Example: QUIZ has 13 card points, two rare letters and only two vowels. It gets the rare-letter bonus once: 13 × 2 = 26 points. A 6-letter word with three vowels and a rare letter scores (card points + 10) × 2 × 2.
The market opens after rounds 1 and 2. Click Start Market to begin choosing upgrades and start the two-minute countdown. Reading the market introduction does not start the timer.
Drag an upgrade card onto the deck card you want to replace, or tap an upgrade then tap a deck card. Each swap replaces one card, so your deck stays at 15 cards. Each market card can be bought once. You can rearrange your deck for free.
Swap prices increase with every swap in that market. The first swap is free. These are the fixed prices for each individual swap; they do not rise with time:
| SWAP | BASE COST |
|---|---|
| 1st | FREE |
| 2nd | 2 points |
| 3rd | 4 points |
| 4th | 6 points |
| 5th | 9 points |
| 6th | 12 points |
| 7th | 15 points |
| 8th | 19 points |
| 9th | 23 points |
| 10th | 27 points |
| 11th | 32 points |
| 12th | 37 points |
You have two minutes to make your swaps. The countdown starts when you click Start Market. When it reaches zero, your staged swaps lock in automatically and the summary appears. With no staged swaps, you keep your deck and spend nothing.
Each swap costs the amount shown above. You can only stage swaps you can afford from your remaining bank. Check Total spend and After lock before committing.
Reset changes restores the deck and market to how they were when this market opened and clears all staged spending. The countdown keeps running; resetting changes does not give you more time. Swap numbering and the timer start afresh in the next market.
Click Lock in changes to deduct the total spend from your bank and confirm your upgrades. Review the summary, then click Start next round. Upgrades are optional: lock in with no swaps to keep your deck and spend nothing. Once locked in, changes cannot be reset.
Words are checked against the Word Decks British-English dictionary.
