Detailed Rules
15 CARDS. 1 ROUND. 3 WORDS. MAKE THEM COUNT.
Rush has two stages in one round: build your deck in the market first, then make 3 different words from your 15 letter cards. Aim for the best word scores while keeping as many points as you can: word points + points left = final score.

1. BUILD YOUR DECK — MARKET STAGE
You start in the market stage with 100 points and your dealt cards. Swap letters to improve the words you will be able to make. You cannot play words until the market closes.
The market opens when you select Play Daily Challenge. You have 90 seconds to choose your swaps. Drag an offer onto the deck card you want to replace, or tap an offer then tap a deck card. Each swap replaces one card, so your deck stays at 15 cards. Each offer can be bought once. Rearrange your deck for free.
Swaps apply immediately and deduct points immediately. The first swap is free. Prices rise with each purchase, not with elapsed time. These are the costs of individual swaps:
| SWAP | BASE COST |
|---|---|
| 1st | FREE |
| 2nd | 2 points |
| 3rd | 4 points |
| 4th | 6 points |
| 5th | 9 points |
| 6th | 12 points |
| 7th | 15 points |
| 8th | 19 points |
| 9th | 23 points |
| 10th | 27 points |
| 11th | 32 points |
| 12th | 37 points |
You can only buy swaps you can afford. Reset Changes restores your original deck, offers and points while the market is open. It clears your purchases but does not restart the countdown.
2. LOCK IN YOUR DECK
Select Lock in Deck to make your purchases final and start the word stage early, or let the market close automatically. Swaps are optional: lock in without buying anything to keep all your points. Once locked in, market changes cannot be reset.
The 3, 2, 1, Rush animation runs before the word stage. Its gameplay timer starts after the animation finishes. Locking your deck early still gives you the full word-stage countdown.
3. MAKE THREE WORDS
After the countdown, make exactly 3 different words, with at least 3 letters in each word. You have 30 seconds to play and submit them.
Type your word or tap the cards, then select Play word. Each card can only be used once in the round, but you do not have to use all 15 cards. A repeated letter needs a separate card for each use. You cannot play the same word twice.
Before submitting, select the × beside a played word to remove it and free its cards, or select Reset Round to clear your words. When you have three valid words, select Submit Round. A submitted round cannot be changed.
At timeout, your last saved three-word arrangement is scored only if all three words are valid and different. An incomplete round scores zero. Undoing words, resetting the round or opening menus does not pause or restart the clock. The guided tutorial is the exception: its learning clock is paused.
CARD POINTS
| POINTS | LETTERS |
|---|---|
| 1 | A E I N O R S T |
| 2 | C D L M U |
| 3 | B G H P Y |
| 4 | F K V W |
| 5 | J Q X Z |
BONUSES STACK
Start by adding the points on every card in your word. Add the matching length bonus, then apply every multiplier the word qualifies for.
Vowels count each time they appear; Y is not a vowel for this bonus. Each multiplier applies once per word, even if the word contains several rare letters. Multipliers also multiply the length bonus. All three multipliers together give ×12.
Example: QUIZ has 13 card points, two rare letters and only two vowels. It gets the rare-letter bonus once: 13 × 2 = 26 points. A 6-letter word with three vowels and a rare letter scores (card points + 10) × 2 × 2.
YOUR FINAL SCORE
Add the scores of your three words, including their bonuses, then add your remaining points. For example, 94 word points + 100 points left = 194 points. Spending points can improve your words, but each point spent removes one point from this total. Spend them wisely!
